Need accents to work for you as an actor? You need to start thinking about them like an actor! Thinking like a phonetician isn’t going to serve you here - in your head much?! This is character work! It’s not about getting it ‘right,’ it’s about finding that which is true.
EMPOWER will move you from obsessing over the accent to getting curious about the voice of the character.
Successful mastery of a new accent is about closing the gap between your own accent the character’s. But how can you break down, analyse and embrace the differences if you don’t have a grasp of the different elements that make up an accent in the first place?
In EMPOWER I’ll walk you through each of the four essential elements of accent analysis: pronunciation, posture, prosody & people so you’re in a good place to start analysing for yourself.

In EMPOWER I’ll guide you through unpicking the features of your accent so you can more easily compare it to any you’re trying to learn.
